I recently bought a pair of Maxtor MaxLine II Plus (7Y250P0's) which turned out to be counterfeit.
They show up as 6Y250P6....
Got them from an eBay seller as "New (not used, not refurbished) 7Y250P0s" located in California....
Don't know if I would've caught on if it the drive didn't fail to format....
