something that I don't think gets enough play, is that 10K SCSI drives with better data density are priced lower (marginally) then the raptor line.

The drive is not SATA2 actually, it's only SATAI.

not true, it's SATAII, since come with 300MB/s cache to ram speed and NCQ, but of course not sure this baby featuring hot plug and port multipying or not
