Not everyone has $700 bucks to shell out on a new PCIe Platform. $300 bucks is actually a good launch price for this video card. Its faster than a 6800U (and cheaper), and it also sports better features. My Next video card will probably be AGP. (I have an ASRock Dual-SATA2). Why? Well because I have two ASRock Dual-SATA2's. One with an FX5900, and another with an Radeon 9000. (Both AGP). Now I can get myself a 7800GS and move my FX5900 into the Radeon 9000 machine :)
