1. Does this seem crazy to anyone but me? When I buy a portable, I want battery life. Gaming is a nice plus, but definately secondary to battery life. Next, I expect to see a water-cooled laptop.

2. An Industry first, SLi in a laptop!! Also another industry first, included with every laptop... a fire extinguisher.

3. Sorry, I value both gaming and battery life, with probably more emphasis on performance than other factors.
It remains to be seen if they are going to put 7800 Go or 7800 GTX Go gpu's in ths beast. It'll be a nice tech accomplishment at minimum, paving the way for other features as time moves on. I wonder if this will be the first of the Turion dual core chips as well. If you could keep the main cpu on a fairly cool power and heat budget, putting more oomph into the gpu area would be possible. In any case this smacks of Nvidia putting a new foot forward in the notebook chipset arena unless Clevo is building this thing with a desktop chipset. Lots of curiosity but not a lot of answers on what's what yet. We'll see! [Posted by: Anemone | Date: 02/11/06]
