I do not know what the authors mean by DX9.0 cards. Obviously GX5200 cannot be regarded as such - it's too slow for ANY DX9.0 application. Regardless of whatever is said in the article, what I have witnessed over the last year was almost complete absence of NVIDIA from the high-end, only a couple of weeks ago first 5900s made it to CompUSA. That's certainly not what NVIDIA intended!

When they say DirectX 9.0 cards, don't they mean features that the card can do hardware-wise?
