I wouldn't classify a $200 scanner as an "inexpensive" scanner.

Yo, considering that the perfection scanners sell for over $400, 200 dollars is a very good deal!

Yo, considering that the sucky scanners sell for under $40, 200 dollars is not inexpensive but average. Average cannot be expensive or inexpensive fundamentally.
