It is about time AMD came up with a low-cost dual core. With the Intel 805 out there kicking up and taking names, those trying to buy performance on a reasonable budget have few choices. I'm a died in the wool AMD fan since my first 5x86-133 processor in the mid 90s, but lately I've been recommending intel due to the huge price disparity on the low-end dual cores. AMD needs to price something in a price/performance camp to compete with the flood of cheap, high performance, dual cores Intel is putting out (specifically the 805), or the market is going to shift back.
