This is not kit I would recommend for beginners. You actually need a grounding in light engineering to make this badly-finished kit work properly in the first place.
The vga block doesn't work properly because the mounting frame and the protruding screws hold the block away from the GPU. I fixed it by using a Zalman GPU-block which keeps my x1950 @47 degrees under severe pressure, but out of the box it's a nightmare.
There is a relay hidden under the pump-base plastic that starts to get very noisy after about six months wear. The overflow tank cracked after 9 months, a hairline crack right at the bottom where it can't be seen. Didn't Vantec know that Aluminium and Copper precipitate salts? This one will sulphate your tubes in no time but at least that will dull down the ghastly 'disco' LEDs.
The CPU block, the pump and the radiator are good; the Northbridge block also, except it can't be used in a PCi-E board with a long card. (I use an AGP mobo)
Basically it's a dinosaur masquerading as a white elephant. It works - but only by luck. Vantec's quality control is too busy looking at shiny copper to notice the glaring faults in the fittings.
A POS, make no mistake. 1/10 for good packaging.
