somehow i do understand the content of your explanation but i still cant figure it out on my own pc

here are the specs of my PC >

CPU Type: DualCore Intel Pentium E2140, 1600 MHz (8 x 200)

Motherboard Name:Foxconn 45CM/45CM-S/45GM > video,audio integrated controller

ram: Transcend JM367Q643A-6 512 MB, ddr2-667 sdram, 333mHZ,

*80 gb hitachi hard drive

*I AM PLANNING TO BUY 1 GB RAM, 667, AND A VIDEO CARD OF 512 mb VRAM, 128 BIT

i guess my question is am i buying the right amt of ram, and video card? or do i need to buy more?

*im going to use my pc for gaming

*please help me build a gaming pc without replacing all that i had already
