Blue Ray is going to win this format war because they have a greater capacity to store data than HD DVD. And also more big Hollywood studios support Blue Ray over HD DVD.
The first HD-DVD for the Toshiba Qosmio notebook is just a reader and not a writer.
While the Blu-Ray (for its AR series) is actually a writer (supports BD-R single layer:25GB) and and a reader.
If these 3 other notebook manufactures want to implement HD-DVD into their next digital entertainment notebooks, they better use a HD-DVD that can also write to HD-DVD disc instead of just a iHD rom.
