1. Thanks but No Thanks!
Asus has cranked out some real inferior products in recent years yet they feel they can charge a premium price. Thermalrights heatsinks are better quality and performance is superior also. Of course they might not come in a "shimmering blue box" or have worthless LEDs, but I haven't seen the packaging box or any LEDs that make a PC run better or last longer. 2. It would be interesting to see the AMD & Intel boxed coolers as a reference base line.
Many of these behemoths have questionable performance. At what point do you start spending these extra "cooler dollars" on a better CPU? Good article and information. [Posted by: Dennis_1 | Date: 10/21/06]

4. It just irks me to put something that huge on a motherboard. I always get the feeling that it will just rip a chunk out of my motherboard and maybe crash into another vital hardware. I prefer my small fans thank you.

5. Just put one in on the Maximus Formula....had to trim the cooling fins on the board to make it fit.....Despite this Asus is still tops in my opinion
