I have the same problem with an old board I wouldn't mind resurrecting.

It's an A-Trend (Atrend) ATA-V931-CX0.

Let me know if you find out what is necessary for the BIOS to boot the diskette. Is it a problem with the format of the diskette? Do I need to fish for an older 720MB format low density diskette? That doesn't sound right to me -- the ability to address a given floppy size is a trait inherent to the drive, not the BIOS.

let me know what you find out, will you?

you have to rename the bin file to the file name it is looking for I.E. ami="AMIBOOT.ROM" award="award.rom" I am not shure on the award but look around on afew websites for bios recovery procedures and they will list the names

Perhaps there's something I'm missing; I've got a TekRAM P6Pro-A5 that displays the "Award Bootblock". When it looks to the A media the floppy seeks and stops. Nothing happens. The floppy is bootable to MS-DOS (W98) and has awdflash and current BIOS.

Will attempt flash on another Award equipped motherboard with same EEPROM type. Otherwise, could use a little more insight.

Thanks for the article and best regards.

Your link for the Award BIOS update site doesn't work! Waste of time putting it there, if you can't be bothered to check it works!!
