1.
Should be mentioned that the four PCI Express slots work in either a 16/0/4/0 configuration (16x first slot or 4x third for SLI) or 8/8/4/8 when using the other two slots.

Most likely won't cause issues with current PCI Express cards (video, physics or other controllers), but keep it in mind if you plan on making this a 3+ year investment.

I got big problems with that MOBO. Got Geil Ultra 2x512MB 800MHz 4-4-4-12 and i can't change their timings in Bios !. I must leave them Auto because it's only way to overclock the CPU. Now I got 422x7=2950 on my E6300, but mem in auto is 5-6-6-20 !! If i turn them in manual 4-4-4-12 or 5-5-5-15 computer don't boot even on 300fsb !! I try all bios (oficial / beta) dividers for ram and all Voltages(cpu/ram/chipset).... still nothing. It's good motherboard but i think ASUS/GEIL do not cooperate each other ? Sorry for my english - I'am from Poland.

You can't setup up quad-cross Fire, but
you can setup octo-display.
And you really don't need to have the same card.
You can use a series of Nvidia cards. form the
low-end 6200 to the high eng 7800GTX. :)

You can connect the 4 PCI-E cards internaly ( using cross fire or using SLI ) . thus you'll have single single display output but of the power of 4 VGA cards which is good news for gamers.
