The review is not bad and you must have put quite a lot of work into it. However, I have a remark about benchmarks. They are the weakest link. Only synthetics :(. Could you update them to something more sensible? You could even leave them, and add several real-word testing scenarios to the suite.

BTW, there is no way this review is from 14.11.2006. I was checking your website just after 1:00 am of CET, on 16.11.2006, and it still was not there.

One more question: what are the guys responsible for G80 reviews doing? I liked the first part (architecture review), from over a week ago, but it seems to me that they are not going to follow with performance analysis. Are they hiding under the rock? Are they always that slow?

Pardon me but isnt Core Duo an old CPU for laptops now??

They are selling these Core Duo laptops in Taiwan for as low as $28,000NT ($850 USD) and Core 2 Duo laptops are selling for $35,000NT ($1060 USD).

I guess lowering the price is one way to clear old stock!!

They are still very good CPU/ laptops especially with the price drop~~

Multimedia playback should be a breeze as well.......

This Russian over the air TV's signal sucks in quality. Could you guys have used a more powerful antennae or something.
I am assuming that you guys are reviewing this product in Moscow, Russia. Could you have gotten an apartment closer to the Ostankino Tower before reviewing the TV tuner? (ostankenskaya bashnia).
