Where is G80 performance review? In case you do not know, they were launched over 3 weeks ago. Are you really that behind?

looks like someone did a find & replace at some point (probably to ensure the Radeon X1800 XT said "256MB"), because instead of "Texture Filtering", it says "TeXT 512MBure Filtering". Nice proof reading!

It would be nice to see a comparison between X1950Pro 512MB against the 7950GT. The former has a price tag around 210€ and the latter around 300€. If AMD equips the Pro 512MB with GDDR4 memory, it would probably be a killer card in it's price range.

Please include Company of Heroes in your next benchmark. It's an RTS, but it has better graphics than most FPS games!

I have a Leadtek 7950GT with 512MB GDDR3 and have successfully overclocked it to give 637MHz in 3D apps by tweaking the BIOS to give an extra 0.1V when using 3D and like yourselves I got 1580DDR from the memory, not a lot can be done to increase this obviously as it's dependant on memory specs and even BIOS tweaking can't increase memory voltage.

I bought a bfg 7950gt-oc 256mb at tigerdirect in 180$... great value considering that is the same price of 8600gts. Should i expect that 7950gt-oc 256mb version has a performance between 7900gt 256mb and 7950gt-oc 512mb?
