If there aren't AMD cpu powerful as Core 2 cpu this mainboard is a waste of money. Hardcore gamers now are switching to the more powerful Intel platform, without a never seen yet K8L all the gaming AMD platforms are clueless. At this time AMD platforms are good for all tasks, but not good for the enthusiast people.

If people are foolish enough to buy this crap then that is what the mobo companies will ship. It's simply unacceptable to me so I refuse to buy this crap. And why on earth would someone pay a premium for a mobo that doesn't function properly? It makes absolutely no sense at all.

As far as Intel and Core 2 Duo goes, IMO Intel don't deserve my money after they have exploited consumers for 30 years. Supporting Intel is just driving up the cost of PC ownership.

Does that mobo box cover photo say: "clueless dumbazz" or what? I mean everything in that photo screams idiot to anyone who actually has a clue. It's pretty hysterical to look at.

Currently running a Semprom 3400 @ 322 or 2900MHz with 2G of Buffalo Firestix.

While I agree the C2D is a better way to go there is nothing wrong with this mobo.
