Nice article.

I hope that you will test other nForce 650 SLI motherboards soon (MSI, Abit, ECS are already available but no reviews now)

"Well, we do not want to overpraise this mainboard. "

Don't worry, you didn't.

This is the most negative review I've read on this board.

Let me get this right? This mobo comes out way before the striker from asus ( its been available for months, they came out about the same time) and your now just getting around to testing it ---why would you expect improvements in memory timing compared to the $350 striker? This mobo is then half the cost of a striker or even a evga!

This article is excessively critical of a low end solution - "jumper blocks the 4 pin connector if a 8 pin connector is used? common a good psu as a 8pin to 4pin converter! Buy a psu with 4 pin p4 connector!

No voltage circuit cooling and capacitors too close - most good heat sinks fit fine - just not the junky low profile ones eveyone likes to test. No problems with a good thermalright or even the stock intel with C2D works fine!

Its got 6 channel sound! What you want a better sound chip, better voltage cooling better this and better that - now you have a $200 mobo!

This mobo is less $150 usually $130 - its awsume for the price! Give it the rating it diserves the mobo is 5 stars, AAA++ for the price~!

The review is below to average. Also it has some controversial sentences and paragraphs. Hopefully, motherboard manufactures do not have to stress putting work-arounds in the BIOS like they did to its beefier brother. I am still waiting until K8L comes out. I will then make the decision based on people's yay and nay on this chipset and AMD based chipsets.

IMHO, Universal Abit's Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI is better and the reviewer will like it better.

There is no "fsb hole" from 400-450mhz. Memory timings tighten starting from 400 up to 424, then a new strap comes in at 425. If you can't run in that range then your ram isn't up to the task. FYI, 412.5 fsb is more than stable for me at x8 with an e4300 and Super Talent 6400 ram.
