Once again AMD is smarter than Intel. (referring to the X38) DDR3 is nice as optional, but shouldn't be required on a high performance machine currently. In 2008 it'll be a different story of course, so I hope AMD is prepared then.

This could give the edge in 2007 on high end machines once again to AMD.
