Why do you keep testing with old drivers when the better ones are available? It is pointless.

Good review, but yeah I really want to see how 8800GTS 320MB behaves under 15X.XX or 16X.XX drivers.
97.94 whql came late year 2006, the 320MB version of 8800GTS arrived 17th?? of februari 2007 so basically these drivers doesn't support 8800GTS 320MB. Maybe some of these, what seems to be "mem related issues" are fixed in later drivers and fps doesn't take these huge dives. Maybe, mabe not. It's very annoying even a 7900GS can beat my 8800GTS 320MB in specific games & settings, that's not what I payed for :P

97.94 whql came this year and does indeed support the 8800GTS 320MB, unfortunately these drivers were pretty much built on 97.92 whql, these drivers were released long before the 8800GTS 320MB arrived.

This article would be more interesting than other articles out there if this article shows power consumptions if card is extremely underclocked and with its stream processors disabled. Many people are interested on how can they save energy while having the card on board (very useful if not using the rig on gaming very often)
