Hmm, about those temperature measurements. The better the heattransfer between heatsink and memorychip, the hotter the heatsink. Specially with heatpipes which pump heat to sink.
If you put gum under the heatsink, its temperature lowers, but chips rises. So you cannot determinen how good cooling is based on heatsinks temperature.
Otherwise, great review, only pity that megacoolers dont really help on memory :
