1. Sorry but I ain't buying the political speak...

We'll see what actually transpires over time. OCZ don't impress me none. If PCPC's PSUs maintain their quality, I'll keep buying them. OCZ is mostly into gimmicks IMO.

2. Thanks for the feedback Jorge. Alex here.

I hope we can impress you with our upcoming products, we already have a wide array of offerings, but the PC Power units really help us address the complete range of customers from gamers to hard core enthusiasts. We have some very innovative coolers on the way, as well as a new crop of 4GB DDR2 kits and high speed/low latency DDR3 offerings. We are all about quality products, and the independent reviews on sites like this one speak for themselves. All your feedback helps us make a better product, and I personally really value it.

3. I have a question here, out of this article scope maybe, but still related to OCZ.
How do OCZ evaluate its entrance in graphics cards market ?? nVIDIA has a wide range of offerings, yet OCZ is still only relies on the 8800 GTX, are you going to quit that market or going to expand further into it ??
Also, are you going to offer any of ATI models ??

Hello @DoUL,

The 8800 card has done well for us, and we are actually consistantly sold out. We treated that card similar to premium memory and binned the GPU's to offer more headroom for our customers at no increase in price over traditional cards. At the current time we are only focused on the high end offering, and actually looking at ways to further differentiate the card in therms of advanced cooling. We are indeed looking at other solutions, but will most likely not introduce any other cards unless we can offer a much more signifigant added value with the cooling.

4. From what I've heard OCZ PSUs are pretty good quality, so inexpensive (~$100) cases with 450-500W units could be interesting.

I would also like to see some quiet case that would compete with the Antec P180/P182.

5. I've owned three OCZ products now, the Platinum Rev 2 PC-3200 kit, a Gold DDR2 kit, and most recently the ProXStream PSU. All of them have been reliable quality products, and the support team actually helped walk me through overlocking my MSI board with the Gold PC2-6400 DDR2.

I've never tried a PC Power unit becuase of the cost, and to be honest my OCZ ProXStream has been awesome, but I'd certainly be interested in looking at a PC Power unit if they could make a real quiet model. I'd pay for that.

Anyways, thx to the OCZ representative for talking directly to us, I wish more manufacturers did that, and I find it refreshing.

PC&C does make silent PSU it's called
the Silencer.

Also will OCZ and PC&C PSUs be more widely available in retail markets?
e.g. Best Buy, CompUSA, Target, Circuit City, J&R, etc.
