1. As usual - you don't comment on noise levels as well as heat levels. Those two are important factors of today's systems.

>Those two are important factors of today's systemsnoise levels of all modern hard disk drives are very close and barely audible. deviations between different samples of same model can be greater then difference with the model of other manufacturer 7K1000 was audible only when spinning, which took about 10 second due to the 5-platter design. Idle noise or vibration was sensible only in several centimetres of the drive. Seek noise was very gentle and not annoying, especially opposed to Barracudas. Heat is a direct function of power consumption (which was described in the review) and isn't a problem with any normal PC case. [Posted by: GReY | Date: 07/17/07]
