1. Thank you for the detailed review of this board. As I have come to expect from xbit, it was clearly written, concise and informative.
DFI's boards are truly enthusiast boards, built for those few "wealthy, free and dedicated" people that I used to want to be. Nowadays, all I want now is an easy, inexpensive and quality board, and based on not just this review, but many people over at DIYSTREET, it will not be a DFI board. 2. The package looks like Xbox 360 v3

3. There are too many excellent boards out there like the Asus P5B Deluxe or the P5K Deluxe that no user in their right mind should waste their time wrestling with a board and chipset that is just plain buggy.
Don't be afraid to come out and state the obvious; the Nvidia chipsets are not in the same league as the Intel P965 or P35 chipset. [Posted by: Kevin G. | Date: 07/29/07]
If you want SLI what other chipsets can you use besides nvidia? Also for that design, it looks kinda cheap. A fan on the SB?! How about some passive cooling? [Posted by: asdkke | Date: 07/30/07]
4. DFI make great boards, pity about the buggy/crap NV chipset

5. Looks like crap too. I picked the DFI Dark up for $75 less than the P5B-D awhlie back and it's probably got the best color scheme of any board.
The low profile passive heatsink on the NB works great too. :D No problems w/ Tuniq or TRUE HS's either...except for the crappy Thermalright mount. :( [Posted by: Jodiuh | Date: 08/02/07]
