380W is the power supply max energy, PS3 has a peak energy consumption of less than 200 W,

you should know the difference
between power supply max. and real, don't you?

So if you attach a 1000W power supply to a computer it
immediately starts to leak 1000 Watts?

The translations from japanese can be wrong, but you should know what a PC supply is (or someone may call it INCOMPETENCE, as it's your job, not mine).

I guess future sales of this product are part of why Sony/Nvidia went out of their way to deny access to the RSX from Linux running on the PS3. I think it sounds cool but I'm angry enough at being locked out from the RSX on my PS3 to go out of my way to avoid using this "solution" if at all possible.
