This sounds like what the EA exec said awhile ago about making the mistake of focusing too much on 360 and PS3 while not enough about Wii. Really sounds more like excuses than anything else.

EA only focus on increased dividend for the stockholders.
EA is the most corporate game developer and publisher in the whole industry.
They don't take responsibilities for their products.
Corporation, noun: An ingenious device for gaining individual profit without individual responsibility.
Valve has been kissing MS' *** too much, because they don't use OpenGL and rely only on Windows for Steam.
Look at id, at least they are doing their best.
