Great job covering all applications I just bought a Q6600 a week ago and after reading this im glad I did this will last me for years to come and will not be out of date as fast as the E6850

I was debating between the E6850 and the Q6600, leaning more towards the Q6600.. Because I was going to OC either one I got, so now it confirms that the Q6600 is better for OC'ers and as more programs lean towards multi-core processing, the quad-core is the right choice.

Thanks to this review I only spent about ten minutes figuring out what processor to go with while the motherboard choice went on for three days. Much appriciated.

Some audio production benchmarks would be wonderful with programs like Ableton Live, Reason (2.x, 3.x 4.x) Protools, etc.

It would make the article quite useful for those of us who use our PC to produce audio.
