1. This is doomed to failure.
AMD is doomed. ATI was doomed when AMD bought them. DAAMIT is doomed. *jumps on the VIA bus.* [Posted by: Joz | Date: 09/16/07]
2. Looks interesting, but the power use needs to be quite a bit lower than the current 2900XT.
And the 2900Pro 512MB price needs to be very close to the 8800GTS 320MB, with the 2900GT priced halfway between that and 8600GTS. [Posted by: Ark | Date: 09/16/07]
3. Is this PRO a 65nm part? Geez we really need complete specs.

4. I think I'll wait G92 :D

5. This card is trash. It needs a 512 bit memory bus and a lower price tag to be competitive.
This generation of ATI cards should be completely avoided. [Posted by: Mr. BonBon | Date: 09/18/07]
i agree, the clock speed will be too low and power and noise won't be that much better than the 2900XT.i'm still strongly considering buying it anyways though, just because of it's price positioning. [Posted by: Skywalker | Date: 09/18/07]
6. Price positioning is what this card is all about it seems. i might consider buying it also as the 8800gts is too rich for my blood. I am looking forward toseeing what this card can do.. and the actual pricing.
