1. This thing can whip my computer's ass. I have an Opteron 185 @ 3.0Ghz on a 250mhz HTT and I only do 11,100 with my single Radeon 2900XT 512mb in 3Dmark06. My CPU score is only a little over 2300 as well so this thing truly is incredible.

I wish I had 8 Opteron cores to play with. If AMD gets things going maybe I can build a Phenom system that can hang with the big boys. I definately want 8 cores in 2008.

Guys, I just ran Cinebench R10 and I got 5484 with my 2 cores on my Opteron 185. If I multiply that by 4 my theoretical 8 core score would be 21936. In reality Opterons scale well with multi-processor systems due to Hyper Transport. If this was truly the case then I'm actually not all that impressed with this setup. The only impressive factor is that its everything multiplied by 2 to 4 times. 2x the video cards, 4x the cores. The new K10's are much faster per core and per clock than my lowly socket 939 Opty 185 so when (if) AMD gets them to 3ghz they will be contenders in the rendering segment. SSE4 on the other hand is insane on Intel's new CPUs. AMD better catch up with full SSE4 and their SSE5 implementation ASAP.

2. Uhh the FM 06 @ 3400 if those were overclocked ultra V cards - whats really the big deal

4. Skulltrail, ready to crush AMD's skull to use it as a lamp shade. I feel sorry for the poor suckers, they tried but failed miserably.

5. Just a little cheesy on that whole skull thing. lol looks like how an 12 year old would decorate his pc-case.

But the hardware sure looks nice should see if it gets adopted wildely by enthusiaists or just another super niche for show kind of thing like AMD's R.I.P Quadfather.

6. I guess higher scores are only due to higher cache, which is great in my book.

7. this will probably cost 7000 easily with 2 nvidia 9800's in there.

but price doesn't worry me. All i want to know is... HOW DOES IT PLAY CRYSIS ON MAX SETTINGSSSSS!!?!?!
