why do amd keep messing about with their sockets, if you are smart stay with the same format looks like 45nm, and then 32nm... or maybe lower. I mean am2, am3, am4 am5...

Please, make a socket for 45nm, and 32nm or to the lowest point 26nm ? then re-think the heat-out of the cpus.

their new range still looks slow, and all over the place! it really hard to work out any logic to their plan when it comes to speed of their cpus, I am sure they could make a 3.5ghz chip or a killer quad.. this chip would be a best seller, for me their needs to be a total re-think, maybe I should run the company for them?

the one good thing they are cheap, on some cpus, if you buy at a later date, buying at the right time is so important, I want to buy another amd, but intel looks a lot faster maybe a quad6400 running at 3gz total power of12gz.
or a amd 6000, speed 3.2= 6.4 gz

time is money, and I need more speed.

3- core cpus, are a stop gap for amd, AND ARE A VERY-MISTAKE FOR AMD DO NOT BUY ONE!
BUY SAYING THIS, I WILL SAVE YOU ALL A LOT OF MONEY.

FACT
quad-core will walk all over them, and rule until six-core chip hit the market, with each core being able to be set to a diff/level of speed, a long way off, but it is comming, trust me.
