1. Not everyone has a current generation card. I hope the full review of this game has a significantly larger array of video cards. I'm looking forward to comparing 7xxx-Series GeForce's and other previous gen cards.

2. I agree with MonkRX's sentiments above.

3. It would be nice to see the 8800 GT in there.

4. I agree an 8800GT would be nice to see how it compares. It would also be nice to see some 7 series cards and ATI's previous generation.

5. ''...Unfortunately, the speed of the ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT and Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS fluctuates from 40 to below 25fps at a resolution of 1600x1200, and this resolution is practically unplayable...'' Man this is bullshit!!!, excuse my french...
How can you say that at 25fps the game is unplayable. DUDE! I used to play counter strike with an old cyrix 6x86 at about ~20fps and it was PERFECT!!!! I thing everithing that's about 18,19fps is playable!!! Trust me, I have over 15 years gamming experience! [Posted by: TAViX | Date: 11/14/07]
Used to play UT with dialup, 300A celery + TNT vanta and thought it was fine. Later, when I had 1.5 Mb/s DSL, 1800XP + Ti4600, I knew just how unacceptable 15 fps is online for a MP fps. Time to evolve dude. [Posted by: SlithyTove | Date: 11/14/07]
Dude just because 18-19 fps is playable for you doesn't mean it is for everyone.I would rather not play at all if I was getting that kinda frame rate! When you have a decent machine and use to playing your games at 40-60fps, then have to drop down to 20-30fps on a newer game it is noticable. If you always had a POS comp then of course you wouldn't notice the difference. [Posted by: Bill Gates | Date: 11/16/07]
6. Kudos for including fraps data rather than the far less informative Min/Average bar graphs. Concise visualisation of data is getting better each review.
Only minor critisisms - more a wish list really ... 1) Have to agree with a few other comments here - a 7xxx series card would have been nice to see for those of us that don't upgrade every 12 months. 2) With multicore CPUs finally being useful, what about CPU dependency? I'd expect UT3 to exhibit serious CPU scaling issues, regardless of GPU present. It's been a long time since anyone has done serious CPU v's GPU performance tests. It'd be great to see, including similar single core v's multicore CPUs for multi threaded scaling efficiency. [Posted by: SlithyTove | Date: 11/14/07]
1. yes, I agree2. yes, dual and quad core and single core on the 8800GTX or Ultra since it's king of the hill [Posted by: Shitdip | Date: 11/14/07]
7. What about the 8800GT which is seems to be the best choice today ? It's supposed to be better than 8800GTS based on other test, the question is how much better.
As for the game. You compare it to ETQW, but for me it can not be compared. ETQW is multi platform game (OpenGL) with client for every platform. And the very interesting fact, it runs faster on Linux (~60fps for vista and ~70 fps for Linux. +20% for penguins). [Posted by: n0nsense | Date: 11/15/07]
8. Would have liked to see SLI numbers at the 2560 x 1600 res with everything cranked up.

9. They should have gotten their hands on an 8800Gt and tested that aswell
