1. I not quiet convince that this is final microsoft dx 10 final update....they can make alot of profit especially for hardcore gamer that willing to put their money for new rig...but if this thing happen that should be glad for the casual gamer I hope so

3. They are moving to Directx 11development because its clear that the Graphics Chips makers are unable to produce anything that can run dx 10 within acceptable frame rates. It's sad really.
We have been running games at 1024x768 for five years now, and still, we have seen no innovation in moving past that resolution. So I can understand why they are abandoning dx10 and aiming for dx11 probably some innovations like physics processors and assisted gpu code that virtualizes 3D so it can scale with multiple GPU's much easier.
