2. AMD Stockholders: "FUCK! :( "
Intel Stockholders: "You should try copying us agian, it worked a few years back, din't it?" [Posted by: Joz | Date: 12/11/07]
3. LOL ,let me tell ya, AMD is good for nothing

I've said this before. AMD is very good, and very useful, because as of now, VIA has found themselves a new competitor, and hopefully, this will bring new innovations to the table.

Yup I agree wth that without AMD maybe we cant see Intel Conroe in 2007..I wish AMD will be stiff competitor for Intel so that the technology will move on

4. i won't believe it until i see it.
ANd remember, as far as i know, intel debuts Nehalem in 2H of 2008. Good luck, AMD. but quit delaying your comeback! [Posted by: Skywalker | Date: 12/11/07]
Im thinking Nehalem in late Q3.Another problem with AMDs position is that Intel still has a lot of headroom with Core2. Intel has already stated that they could release a 4GHz Core2. Even if AMD gets Shanghai quads out in Q2 at 3GHz, intel could easily release a faster C2Q thereby raining on AMDs parade. I hope that AMD pulls its' trump card out with Bulldozer. 5. I think its pretty clear from the first couple comments, you guys are children. And don't weren't around when Intel use to charge $1000+ for the main stream chips. If AMD doesn't do well in 08 you can forget about those $300 quad core chips and prices will start to creep up with no competition.
Not that it matters when your parents buy most of your shit! Gotta love you fanboys!! [Posted by: Bill Gates | Date: 12/12/07]
If you can't buy performance chips then go get yourself a job (or better yet stop slacking around forums)!AMD fanboys claiming prices to go $1000+ are BS! Prices have gone below $300 for quads and with Intel's fab capable of saturating the market with these sub-$300 chips, its unlikely for the prices to go up! Go back to school old man and learn your basic economics! I suggest you start with the law of supply and demand! [Posted by: Anti-"AMD Fanboy" | Date: 12/12/07]
Did you actually read what he said? Learn how to read please.

6. Its quite surprising that a lot of people (the so called "fanboys") are loyal to AMD and preaching to support competition.
The current situation clearly indicates AMD chips can't even compete at performance level against Intel chips. thats why they had to reduce their prices as a consolation. why support a company that couldn't even begin to compete for the sake of competition?!? its totally insane! [Posted by: Bleep | Date: 12/12/07]
fanboys or not, tell everyone what's bad/wrong about competition?

7. It doesnt exist, because they cant build it! Its supposed to be a 45nm while they cant even do 65nm for gods sake.

8. haha get a job. I was typing that from home I have VPN access at work u dolt. As for the law of supply and demand while it is true, that doesn't stop intel from increasing prices when they have no competition. Why the hell will they sell you a $300 Quad when they can sell it to you for $500. And you mindless sheep will lap it up.
i'm pretty sure you'll still be using a P4 if it wasn't for the Athlon 64! And if 27 is old then I guess you are right! [Posted by: Bill Gates | Date: 12/13/07]
