The chip alteration won't hit performance at all on most MOBO's, and if I'm wrong, then please post links that show otherwise.

NV is stumbling with the 9800? What the heck are you talking about? We don't know if they are or not, no news has been posted on the product other then it will arrive in mid FEB! So please, once again, got any links?

Penryn is just fine, 9800GTX will own anything ATI has to offer, and in a year AMD will be dead or bought out, so MERRY X-MAS to you AMD Insider! =D

rofl Took me a little while to catch that sarcasm since it involved such hugely wrong claims. Sarcasm doesnt get across well in the net these days since less and less people have contact with real literature these days.
