Phenom processors are a joke for 80x86 processors. I strongly recommend do not buy them. Invest money in K8 processors instead of K10 processors. K10 processors or Phenom has a TLB bug which should not have happened at all.
No company has a solid road map for the future. They just provide it to people to give them an idea where they are going. Intel had similar period of time that they did not have solid road map. Again no company has a solid road map. Really roads are meant to be changed.
I agree that Hector have to go or change his priorities. It is nice that his dreams of providing computers to third world countries, but he needs to put them on pause or slow them down to get AMD back up.
I prefer to use multi-core Sempron processor that is K8 based because I look at email, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, database, web page development, and browsing the web on a daily basis. All this does not need a fast processor. I just need an energy efficient multi-processor that does not produce a lot of heat.
