1. Want to femous and make profit? Just make sure every laptop Asus build has 7200 rpm HDD / SSD and VGA that at lest score 5000 on 3d mark 2006. Beside that asus ones has femous for make laptop with 17" screen as light as 15". If they use this to make their 15" to as light as 13", I think they will event more femous.

2. Other entrants in the low-cost laptop field are:

HCL Mi Leap X (India)

Everex Cloudbook

Asus Eee $299

e-Way Technology Systems Corp. (Taiwan) $150

Look for MANY no-name brands to be sold at Walgreens, Big Lots, etc., for $100 or so.

These should have half the market by 2010.
