1. Looks like the standard SpeedStep functionality dressed up with a different name and GUI (the latter, given Gigabyte's history, will be terrible).

2. Old feature. First one I see on Motherboard P4 Abit. On Gigabyte it self, there is a program call I-Cool witch to switch between prosesor usage. The Abit one is automatic where the I-Cool is manual. So Gigabyte is not the first.
