1. I am starting to think that you are getting money from nvidia for doing theese kind of reviews.
I have alwasys trusted your reviews since a coupl of years ago. But whats with the bioshock results? My rig including a 3870 (unclocked) 4 gigs of ram and a q6600 @ 3.0ghz does quite alot better than your asus factory overclocked version. I am seeing results towards the 8800gt 512 80 fps that is. What is this? the 8800 gt is NOT that much better than the 3870. [Posted by: eh | Date: 01/29/08]
They are using half as many cores at the same clock speed and half as much ram on their testbed

We have rechecked Bioshock game and found no performance difference compared to what was indicated in the article. Your results may be a result of quad-core processor usage.

3. You#1, you may have a point...
Saxed from anands latest: http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3209&p=3 Its not the same resolution, nor the same testbed, but still... Seems a little funky dont start the trolling now, just loock at the link, it dosent seem that one rewiew tells the whole truth, thats all, always look at different sites for different angles. I don't know about that. Every site has different results, depending on their testbed, driver versions, and etc...look at the results from techreport and compare to anand: http://www.techreport.com/articles.x/13772/5 [Posted by: Mr. BonBon | Date: 01/30/08]
4. X-bit use to test with high levels of AA when it was possible. I would love to see you fellows start testing 512Mb cards with 8xAA applied when possible. I understand not doing that with a 256Mb part.

5. another review about the 3870.
how about get moving on that 3870 X2 or the GTS 512? why does it take xbitlabs so long to review stuffs. [Posted by: khoai | Date: 01/30/08]
6. I´m also begining to suspect something funky about theese results. Gonna try it out myself to see whats wrong. Its possible that xbitLabs has used parameters in favour of the nvidiacard.
I want to see more alternative settings omn the same game next time. [Posted by: well | Date: 01/31/08]
7. Do the review again and place that OCed 3870 against a GT @ 660 on the core. :P
