1. Nice mini-review. And as I said, the 3870 should be priced below the 9600GT.

2. It would be great if 9600 GT will be available under $200, but I think in EU the price will be around 200 euros, if not even more. The only drawback, in my oppinion, is the lack of DX 10.1.

3. "Nvidia’s code-named G92 graphics processor, which powers the latest GeForce 8800-series products, was launched as A2 with certain capabilities disabled. Those features are expected to be re-enabled only in A3 version of G92 set to be out in February or March."

What are those capabilities? Does G94 A2 have them?

is it me or does the 9600Gt 512 seems worse then the 8800Gt 512
guess its cheaper to wait the price drop of the 8 serie's and then get 2 of them in place of one 9 serie Geforce

4. Awesome! A review on the first day it was released, even if it hardly covers any more games than that other Hard site does! Let's keep it up! :)

I was actually expecting the 9-series to sport DX10.1 and SM4.1 features, but no... nope, no difference at all between 8800GT!!!!! This is actually the worst transition from one number series to the next ever done by Nvidia.

Still made on 65nm, no DX10.1 and SM4.1.. I KNOW that Nvidia is a tiny bit ashamed of naming it the 9-series for marketing reasons alone and nothing else. Lazy.. lazy.. almost like as if Nvidia is "going to bed" after its 8800 super-success.
