1. 7.5W with needs active cooling?????

Look at the size of heatsink. Maybe if you studied a tiny bit of thermodynamics, you'd realise why this particular motherboard (made by Gigabyte) needs active cooling. 5W or less is more suitable for a completely fanless system. [Posted by: You suck | Date: 03/07/08]
Wrong. 5 watt or less it is suitable for no cooling at all. Intel's old i810 chipset had a 3 watt TDP, and never had a heatsink on it. Intel's old 865g chipset has a max TDP of 12 watts, yet they are not actively cooled. This should not need a fan at all. You need to go back to school.

2. and VIA is still the king in this segment.
Sorry intel ,but get the fvck out and go back to your mainstream and performance parts. The mini-mart is for VIA. [Posted by: Joz | Date: 03/06/08]

4. This is going to make a great NAS board. I'm eager to use this type of setup instead of a NSLU2 (slug).
