"AMD 2.0GHz processor was never mentioned"

2.1 GHz, 2.3 GHz close enough..

Except an AMD 2.0GHz processor was never mentioned...nor an intel one.

Idiots, i should have stopped reading comments on xbitlabs long ago.

3. I wonder why AMD is releasing a "Bugy" B2 stepping processors? Are they falling in love with criticism? Didn't they learn from their Phenom lesson yet?

I have to find many answers before I go on bed with AMD.

well, because they are not buggy if you updated your bios, that's the ground they are standing on while releasing buggy products.

of course this bios update will reduce performance by around 10% in most applications, but you can't sue them for LOWER performance than Intel, can you?!

I'm still a proponent of AMD. I believe they have awesome technologies under the hood. They are just doomed by their incompetent management which keeps turning them down every time they try to leap. Hector is agonizing AMD, it's partners and customers as well.

AMD is a company with potential. Yet to be discovery after coup d'etat of Hector's management.

totally agree, though with the current market status + accelerated intel road-map combined with intel advantage in both performance and power, i can't see AMD getting up from such a fall before 2 years from now or something, which will probably kill the company at some point or get another share of it sold or something.

Anyway, ATi is doing GOOD, not EXCELLENT, but good enough, specially in the HD content playback and such, may be this will help AMD a bit to stand back "which i doubt"
