Great review. I'm a through fan of xBit reviews. I also read [H]OCP reviews but lately they are getting lazy. They did a review only withh overclocking an older dual core cpu. I think it was the E6400. Wow, it overclocked wel??... So I'm pleased to see that xBit uses both dual cores and also the quad-cores to test overclocking.
One thing which I think is a shame and I never see it anywere, is testing more memory. Putting in the max memory in that the mobo can handle and then see how the memory and the cpu overclock handles. I think then we would see bigger differences between mobo's.
But of course I can be wrong and it is expensive I guess, putting in 8GB of high end RAM (especially DDR3), a nice hot Quad-Core etc...
It's just something I miss in all reviews on all sites, but because xBit still is my favorite, I thought I shared my thoughts.
Great review, so I voted excellent!
