1. I would imagine that from this month on the PS3 will outsell the 360.

It would be great, if there are some more good or any games for PS3. Until then i think PS3 isn't going to sell well.
It's sad...i am so sorry that i buy it. I should buy Xbox 360 instead.

I think in the next couple months that will change with 3 hot titles. Plus alot of people are buying it just for the blu ray player. So I would imagine the PS3's will continue to outsell the 360 for then next year or so.

2. Strange how many PS2's are being bought. Are people saying 'I'd like a Playstation please" and then being given whichever box is nearest the sales clerk?

I think its because it is so cheap. Also have you seen the size of them. I almost bought one just because of the size.

3. from what i think what drives these console sale, is the amount of PIRATED GAMES available, its a trend from playstation (cd copy) to wii (dvd copy). look at n64 (cartridge) and ps3 (blueray) very hard and expensive to replicate. just a 3rd world perspective view.
