1. weird card ? why dual mid range :S
go and make a 2900 x2 with a price of 200 euro or some thing :P the HD2600 has 128 bits memory bus times 2 is 256 bit sow why shouln'd you buy a high end in the first place ?
i wounder what price they gonna put on this

2. i beter wait till the HD4870 X2 comes with its GDDR 5 memory on board that card is even gonna kick the ass of the GF9800 GX2

but i think ati is making a good come back against nvidia
if you look at price and performance

the diffrents between the high ends from ati and nvidia is 10 % 4 nvidia in performance but the diffrents in price is 200 euro
im not paying 200 euro more for 10% faster card

i think ati is beter then nvidia but not by having the fastest card
but by price and performance
