1. 300$ for 1 drive?? Is way to expensive. With this money you can have a RAID with better performance...

2. The point probably is that if you put two of those in a RAID 0 then it's even faster again. 10,000s always cost more than 7,200s. And if you want faster spins then you have to go for SCSIs.

Well iam still running a good old Raptor 36Gb in RADI0 and i can tell you its still pretty fast. Now those 2 i payd back in the day's about the same price it was around 250€. Now iam wondering with the 16mb cash guess the would work nicely with big files like Av and/or game's Guess ill then keep the old one's for my Os and the new one's for Games [Posted by: eddi | Date: 04/22/08]
