I think this CPU will finally give AMD fans something to talk about! The 8750 performs decently, however, its performance looks convincing enough only in well-parallelized task. Which raises a tough question - if I were to manipulate data quantities demanding high parallelism, why should I buy a triple-core instead of going straight for 4 cores...?
Another problem is that the 8750 fails to outperform the E8200 in most benchmarks, which costs 30€ less and is far more energy efficient. So, as properly notes, this leaves the CPU hanging somewhere between the higher-end quad-core and the mainstream dual-core worlds... Justifying its purchase would be a tough task for me.
