I think they are headed in the right direction. Promoting the computer and it's parts. This will benefit everyone in the industry, and makes me think they are focused on getting the crown back.

I really love AMD, I even bought Phenom, although I knew it is much worse than intel q6600. I did that to suport them. But if they continue inventing hype words like AMD Game!, which stands for nothing, I will give up. This AMD Game! is really nothing, absolutely nothing. Its time that idiots (with Economy degree) which are at AMD "management" leave management to engineers (if they did not fire all of them by now), like Intl did. AMD Game! is comming as something new from multi billion $ company, yet any PC shop with 2 employees can offer this to their customers. Also Intel Game!, Via Game!, etc. Just put balanced components (which many already do) and you got your hype suffix Game!. As a matter of fact Acer and Alienware already do that, so oly thing which will chage is new green sticker with AMD Game! written on it. If you want this "technology", just buy Acer or Alinware PC, print green sticker with AMD Game! words on it, and stick it somewhere on case, and thats it!

"In fact, no PC-exclusive games, such as Crysis or Half-Life 2 Episode Two, have not made it into the Top 100 of best-selling games in 2007, according to Next-Generation web-site, which means that PC platform in general is losing customers to video game consoles. As a result, it is not completely clear why AMD spends resources on popularization of the PC gaming platform that is losing popularity."

Just another nail in their coffin!!
