Excellent review, will definitely consider OCZ for my next purchase. My 256mb Kingston, which I paid $50 for, gets filled up way too easy.

Also typo in Conclusion; last paragraph:
*being poor in every our of tests*?

I have the Super Talent 4gb and it is incredibly fast at transfering large files. Its only weakness is the back part is a piece of plastic and connects to the metal body with two small clips and glue. The only reason I know is because this is the piece that broke off last week! The rest of the case is extremely durable metal (never dented or flexed), why did they have to use such a cheap endcap? It was also incredibly cheap compared to the flashier slower drives

It´d be nice to add to both graphs the other values. Write in the read graph and read in the write graph. Still keep each graph sorted by its primary value.
That way it would be instantaneous to see if a drive is lacking in the other department.

As far as durability is concerned( I just toss them in my back pocket, w/o cap, they are sat on constantly, dropped, and used ) and I have gone though:

- 2 Corsair Voyagers within 6-8 months ( they end up turning into unrecognized device or bar device )
- 1 Kingston in 12 months ( casing broke, drive OK )
- 1 OCZ rally within 2 months ( usb device not detected )

Kingston has been the favorite, except for its cheap shell construction.

Very useful review :)
The only question that i have is:
When you gonna do 16 and 32 GB models ?
I want to by new one and with 32GB priced at +-150$ i do want big one. I want to put OS on it :)

Other thoughts:
I want to see 1394b stick.
The USB 2.0 can't do more then 270Mbp/s (34MBp/s).
So the current limit of performance sticks is USB interface.
Even FireWire 400 can do much better :)

What about Memorex?

In certain foras there's complaints about the actual capacity of the USB drives. Obviously formatting and preinstalled apps eat up some of the nominal capacity, but maybe in the future it wld be an idea to list the formatted capacity of the USB drives compared to the listed capacity? To help keeping the manufactures honest :)

I'm very disappointed that Corsair Flash Voyager GT is not included in the tests. It's one of the most common and fastest on the market and according to other reviews it is a product that can easily top your charts:
