it never stops for ATI...first the 2900XT was released late then out-trumped by the 8800GT (G92)...next ATI released the 3800 series line-up tocompete to the 8800GT...and NVIDIA released the 9600GT (G94) to compete to the 3800 series...i guess if anyone is looking to go multi-gpu they might as well grab to 9600's in SLI...RV770 is pretty much there last hope for domincance in the market

Pretty obvious they weren't released when the tests started.

X-Bit labs sets the standard for all other review sites. I love the fact you include power, noise (and heat) information, as that is sometimes the factor that makes the decision in a purchase.

Are all the tests with filters? It is clear that the current architecture of Nvidia is superior to the use of filters, ought to have results also without them, where would that 3870 is higher than the 9600gt, otherwise these tests carried deceit ...

Looks like Gigashite are putting themselves first and the customer second with these cards, DDR3 is just not good enough when here in AU you can buy a far superior card for around $15 less that is clocked @ 850/2380MHz and uses GDDR4 that also comes with a better cooler

way to go if you have nothing but contempt for your customers

The article mentions that the kit does not include a DVI/HDMI adapter. This is certainly true! It is not clear, but website info and an email I have from ATI suggests that the adapter is a SPECIAL, which should be included, and that a standard adapter will not work. Gigabyte are being evasive, but I think the omission is a cockup, since the HDMI feature cannot be used at all without the adapter. Does anyone have any more info?
