These corruption issues with NVIDIA chipsets are not new. My NVIDIA 570 SLI based Foxconn N570SM2AA-8EKRS2H motherboard would hang up the system at random times and corrupt data when paired with a Western Digital 500 GB WD5000AAKS SATA-2 HD if NCQ (Native Command Queueing) was enabled for that HD. My other two SATA-2 HD's (a 320 GB Seagate and a 160 GB Samsung) would work fine on the same system with NCQ enabled. I contacted Foxconn, NVIDIA and Western Digital and none of them seemed very interested in solving the problem.
