This review statest that the card has "The best performance among contemporary singe-chip graphics cards";

1. If memory serves me right the 260 and 280 are both single chip...need I say more?
2. It is not compared to the HD 4870.

Srry to say it realy but I find this review close to useless.

One of the worst articles.....The best performance among contemporary singe-chip graphics cards???????Where is the 4870????what about its price which is often way more expensive compared to 4870???Not only you don't mention nothing about noble 4870 but also about the monsters gtx260/280 where gtx280 is the fastest single pcb card till now.....

Lows: Performed only a tiny bit better than 8800 and 9800

The XFX 9800 GTX has better clock and shader than this so it might not be the best 9800GTX+ is has assassin's creed bundled which is much better than lost...

Yeah, without a 4870 included in the review for comparison, this is pretty pointless.

Factory overclocks are just a gimmick to charge more for the same card.Even a total noob can use something like EVGA precision tool to easily O.C. most Nvidia cards.Or use nibitor/NVflash for a permanent overclock.And no one wants to play a queer game like Lost either.

your sites numbers are always way off from every other review sites. no enthusiast will buy this garbage card, and a better mainstream card would be the 4850 for less than 200!hoping for a less than 230 dollar price for this? is it really worth spending an extra 30 dollars over a 4850? NO!the technology is dated! 65nm fab, 2.1 audio over HDMI only verses 7.1 for the 4850. no direct x 10.1 support! If i was you guys I would pull this review, and hire a new editor. The 3D Mark 05 does not have numbers for the 4850, with no explaination. The whole thing is sloppy. the premise is G92 based GPUs! why include others? the 3870 can be found at a price well below the others, why include it? You suck, Darthnadar out!

I can buy a 4850 for $189 right now, with a $30 rebate to bring the price down to $159.

If this card is to be competitive, it must sell for around the $180 mark AT A MAXIMUM. I personally wouldn't buy it unless it sold for $150, and even then I would likely get the 4850 because it is faster.

you can now find(looking hard) the HD 4850 for about 170 $US, or CF for 340 $US, even before rebates! 2 of these will blow away a gtx 280 in most games, for almost 200$ cheaper. I hope everyone is appreciative that the days of Nvidia ripping people off are done, atleast in the mean time. Nvidia is reaching its lowest point of profitability with there current generation. ATI is just beginning its price cuts. I will still bet that XBIT puts a positive spin on it for Nvidia.I would love to see x3 crossfirex hd 4850 verses a single gtx 280 at a similar price point. I bet that Nvidia wont do so good on most games, even if they are best on Nvidia games, lol my conformation word is crap lol
